Paul Toohill was born in Sheffield, UK, too many years ago. His musical interests began with groups like Kraftwerk and Heaven 17 in the early 80's, and from there it was only a natural progression into local bands like Cabaret Voltaire and Clock DVA. At around 14 years of age he began making music himself. Although he was entirely self taught and with no musical education as such (just the fundamental desire to experiment with technology, and to emulate influential groups like Front 242 and the aforementioned Cabs) he began to create sounds using primitive synthesisers, tape loops and found voice samples. His first opportunity to perform live came soon after he moved to Italy in 1989, and since then he has fronted dozens of concerts across Europe (as far apart as the UK and Russia).
He has produced remixes for the groups Ncor, Attrition, Ovni, and has in turn been remixed by Grendel, Implant, Epsilon Minus, Syrian, Massiv in Mensche, T3CHN0PH0B1A, and many others.
In 2006 he put his voice to the Muscle and Hate – Nitzer Ebb project, with music by Sebastian Komor.
